As human beings, we are made up of our thoughts, feelings, and body, and yet none of them is who we are. At our cores are our souls—the untouchable, which is connected to the source. All of this makes us complex and sometimes difficult to understand. As Aristotle said, “The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.” If we look at the whole instead of the parts, we may be able to reach solutions much faster.

In the past 20-plus years of my practice in mental health, my opinion of looking at the whole rather than the individual parts have grown stronger. I don’t believe in putting Band-Aids on life’s problems. Throughout my career, I have had the honor of helping hundreds of people address their misery and dissatisfaction in life by finding the root causes, while planting new seeds to get fruitful results. I have been blessed with a very rewarding job, and my clients’ feedback has been the most rewarding outcome I could ever hope for. I hope this book will help you in the same way.
